Our surface prep and finishing tools help prepare concrete surfaces for new layers of concrete or add a decorative finish by removing previous coatings, treatments, and older layers of concrete. They are designed for the cutting, grinding, leveling, smoothing, planing, texturing, and milling of concrete slabs, stone, brick, and ceramic floors.

Concrete planers, also known as concrete scarifiers, are ideal for jobs where the removal of large layers of concrete is required. They are perfect for sidewalk trip hazard repair, removal of concrete coatings, traffic line removal, and marking removal. Concrete planers provide an 8″ working width and will scarify approximately 350-500 square feet per hour, at a depth per pass of 1/8″. They can remove traffic lines at a rate of 800 to 1,000 linear feet per hour and are available in gas and electric models.

Concrete grinders are ideal for skimming concrete surfaces for cleaning or light grinding. They are also great for removing mastics, thin-set, high spots, epoxies, and urethanes on concrete. Grinders can also help to add a light texture to slippery concrete surfaces. Concrete grinders provide 22″ of working width and are available in gas and electric models.

Concrete power trowels are ideal for concrete finishing of newly poured cement. Dynamically balanced trowels, when their blades are turning, offer nearly effortless operation. Ask about our finishing blades and combo blade attachments.

Concrete finishing screeds are the ideal piece of equipment for lightweight concrete screeding and are available in several screed lengths, including 8′ & 12′ boards.
