I would like to start by saying not only this specific location, but all locations are extremely efficient, clean, well organized and operated very well. I have shopped with Durante numerous times for concrete and excavation equipment. The sales department answer any questions I have to fullest extent, even the yard personnel take the extra step to show me how something works when I was not knowledgeable about it. I have also dealt with the Dispatch department as well for my deliveries and have not had an issue with timing as they are courteous and professional.Great service. Highly recommend.

I needed an excavator and a forklift on the fly for a construction project during an incredibly stressful time where my own equipment broke down and we were on strict timeline. Bryant made sure to take care of me super fast and Efficiently. I have a super long story about the day I walked in to this location, but I can promise you that If any other person would have tended to me, they wouldn’t have been able take care of me as well as Bryant did. He knew exactly what I needed, how I needed it, and how to help me resolve my situation quickly. If you ever walk into this location, ask for BRYANT!!!

I recently had the opportunity to rent a piece of equipment from Durante Equipment Rentals in Carmel NY and I was very impressed.Their sales rep Jason was 100% knowledgeable and followed up with every email in a very timely manner. Their prices are veryreasonable and even when they didn't have a piece I needed in at that time they found one and got it to the location right awayfor me. We recently participated in a MEWP training course . The class room portion was conducted virtually,welcome to the new "norm" .Our Instructor--Hans Bubbert --was informative, entertaining and provided insight and anecdotal asides that made what could have been boring and dry into an interactive experience. Hans scheduled us for our hands on training at the Bronx location. My crew was involved and very interested as Hans walked us through the training and it was evident to me that the guys picked up on Hans' classroom instruction and their retention of it was remarkable.Hats off to Hans and the entire Durante team.

Rented a fork lift, the drop off was scheduled....got a phone call before they time scheduled that they were there to drop off. Of course I wasnt there since it wasnt the correct time. They also overcharged me and are basically ignoring my requests to get the difference refunded back to my card. Now I will have to deal with a chargeback. Should have gone with another local company. Avoid them if you can. It would be great if they could refund the difference back to my credit card that they over charged me for almost two months ago.

I was renting a roller from Durante in Hasbrouck Heights NJ. Due to inclement weather I had to postpone the rental on a Saturday only problem is they are closed on Saturday. I called their emergency number and I literally received a call back within 5 minutes from Baron. He couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did he reschedule my rental for me but stayed in contact all weekend including Sunday to make sure I was set. We live in a world where good customer service is hard to find. Baron and Durante went above and beyond!!! I highly recommend them for all your rental needs, you don’t find companies with service like this often.

I was recommended Durante by a friend when I was in search of a backhoe for storm drainage project to stop water from damaging surrounding structures. Cassie at Durante in Carmel was extremely helpful. With her guidance I was able to rent the appropriate chipper and negotiate a fair delivery price for the drop all the way in New Jersey. Unfortunately, the machine had not been serviced properly and was unusable, but Cassie and Durante made good on their commitment to their customers. I was completely refunded for both the rental and the shipping. I would definitely recommend reaching out to them because good client service is difficult to come by and Durante in Carmel was stellar.

My experience was not so good. I reserved in advance, a Jack Hammer for a Saturday Project. I went to pick up the unit in Wood-Ridge loc. only to be told they put it on a truck going somewhere else. In order to get my Scheduled job done I was told The nearest Durrante was Nyack NY. Took me an Hour plus, to go there & pick it up, and drive back to the job site. Upon returning I approached the guys at the desk and asked for a discount for my time and troubles.GOT Nothing!Since that incident Durante did give me a $ percentage back which made me feel better.I've talked with the guys and I'm willing to give them another chance. The guys were nice on my initial visit. So I will give Durante another chance.

We have used Durante rentals many times with no issues. Chris P always takes care of us.We also made the mistake of using another company ( big sasco) not only did they have garbage equipment which broke down in the field the worst part about it they were charging more money!If you want to get your job done right and not look bad infront of your customers I would highly recommend Durante rentals. We rented a lift at one job site where the customer insisted calling the Durante to tell Chris how great his driver was.Do it right the first time and call DURANTE!

We were rented broken equipment that they still charged us for because they said it was our fault that it was broken, as if construction workers that make $65/hr don't know what they are doing. We could not get a refund because their agreement states that just because you accept their delivered equipment you are deeming it to be working. They could not provide a working replacement within the day nor pickup their broken equipment for a week so we were charged for having it for a week. Just know whether the equipment works or not you will still pay for it.

I googled "rent a generator" on Saturday morning when we were on the verge of canceling the Health fair we had been working on for months, offering free life-saving Mammograms to dozens of poor/uninsured women with no access to health care.
The owner picked up the phone just as he was about to close and for the day. Committed to helping our cause, he made endless calls and coordinated with his staff so assure our success on a Sunday! I don't think anyone else in the city, or the country, would have been so diligent and giving of their time.

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING THERE!I rented a scissor lift today for few hours.Everything went well until their driver came to pickup the lift.He drove the lift out with full speed damaging door sill.Earlier that day I drove in and out couple times (slowly) and door sill was fine.I spoke to Chris and Anthony and they told me that the concrete under that door sill was faulty and that I should contact my contractor! RIDICULOUS!I thought they are rental company not concrete specialists!They refuse to fix the sill!
